Singing...

Variety is key...
Instead of writing some thing I feel,
I will sing it.

This song is titled Gravity, by Sara Bareilles.
Enjoy! ;)

A Hopeful Island...

My island stands for love,
My island stands for unity,
I pray for peace in my island,
I pray for opportunity.
Guajiro stands in the corner,
selling what he's grown,
trying to earn some money,
to feed his family and his home.
My island isn't free,
My island is enslaved,
But I can guarantee one day,
My island will be saved.

My Obsession Continues...

Butterflies, more butterflies.

\It seems my obsession with butterflies has grown.
My tattoo seems to think so.
Here's how it began...

I'll make it short.
My parents were always strict on me growing up.
So on my 18th birthday, I decided to get a tattoo.
I thought, "What the hell should I get?"
Well, I decided to get a butterfly.

Symbolizing me spreading my wings and taking off.
The metamorphosis from a weary cacoon to a vibrant butterfly.

Butterflies,
more butterflies,
my obsession continues...

P.S... If you look closely, you can see music notes :)

Magic Through Music

Emotion: something that causes such a reaction.

Emotions of love, adoration, joy.
This is not even close to what I feel when I listen to The Beatles.
Being a singer myself, I know how hard it is to write songs.
Not only did they write inspiring and enlightening
music for our bodies but for the soul as well.
I promise to record my favorite song of theirs
and post it up... :)

To: My future child...

There was once Tree, who lived in a forest, he was covered by birds, who sang one song's chorus. "Blackbird fly, blackbird fly, into the light, of the dark black night." As they came to a stop, one said to the other, we love each other with all our hearts, does that mean we are brothers? The other says no, and I love you too, our love is just big, and that is the truth. They fly away safely and Tree smiles and waves, with one branch as an arm, he stands there amazed. He asks to himself, why he's never had love, and as soon as he finishes his sentence, he feels he's been shoved. It was a mouse, who seemed as exhausted as ever, she said her name was Cheese, Tree thought that was clever. "What is wrong? Are you okay? Should I get you some water? Or should I stay away?" The mouse looks at Tree, and with a grin on her face, she tells Tree she likes company, and that was the case. The mouse sings and chants, and finds some new friends, then she turns to Tree, because his song still pends. Tree says he can't sing, because he's never been in love, the animal's gasp and moan, Cheese hands him a dove. "This represents love, peace, and unity, this represent us, your friends, your community". At that moment Tree starts to wail, and turns away from the others, Cheese asks him what's wrong, Tree tells her his troubles. "I've never been in love, and I can tell you why, I've been running to find, a good place to hide. I've been hiding from a monster who wanted to take me, to cut me down, he wanted to slave me." Both start laughing and giggling away, by the time they stop to rest, it was time for a new day. So they call their new friends, and shout really loud, "We are different, we're happy, we're getting married, and we're proud". They married, and that was that, a story starting with a shove, a story about how different two can be, and yet fall in love.

Forgiveness is Key...

Betrayal. Hurt. Depression.
Pain. Sorrow. Regression.
Madness. Compulsions. Aggression.
Fear. Acceptance. Submission.
P.S... I forgive you.

Promises you couldn't keep...

Don't you feel the same way I do?
Don't you see this has to stop?
Destruction after destruction,
don't you think we've had enough?
Peace is what we need,
a little bit of truce,
people dying here and there,
isn't that the truth?
Blood draining from the bodies to the pipes,
we, drinking the blood that one soul sacrificed.
Doesn't it make you sad,
to see pain in her eyes?
To find out her son has died,
and he didn't say his good-bye's?
Tell me what we need!
Economy you say,
enough with taking the poor people's money,
each and every day.
It's always about money,
it's always about wealth,
tell me who's going to take care of my mother,
if the cancer worsens her health?
You promised us freedom,
you promised us life,
you promised us a better tomorrow,
you promised us lies.

Some thing to relate to...

Imagine yourself in your favorite place, the place your mind goes to when you're only salvation is simply imagining. Picture it yet? That's one thing we have in common, hope. Some times it feels like it's all we have. Picture hope running closer and closer to you as your day finishes and you are left with only the taste of the unfinished meal you had, doesn't it taste like fear? Fear for what's yet to come. Fear for what tomorrow may bring you, or for the next day. Fear itself can make love become...afraid.

Some of us live our lives like if it were a planner, planning every detail of it and making no time for ourselves. Some of us may even set aside our family and our friends to take action in our more "serious" priorities. We may say, "Well, you don't understand. I have children, they keep my hands tied. Or, my work just keeps me busy." Do we really want to wake up one day and contemplate, "Where did I go wrong?". This is where I come in...

I am an inspirational, optimistic, wannabe guru so to say. My purpose in life: Make people happy, better, stronger. Doubt me not! I will finish my purpose.
